| Introduction | I'm a wife of 57 years, mother of 5, grandmother of 14. I've written, and directed numerous community productions, many under the name "The Santa Clarita Valley Light Opera Company". Now that my children have left the nest I can get back to writing. I've completed my first novel. I taught nursing for 20 years and have been an RN for over 40. I've now been retired for 3 years after teaching 12 years for UCLA-Olive View hospital. I've won several awards for my poetry and short stories. In August 2015 my husband and I became missionaries for the LDS church at the construction of the Tucson Temple. During that time I wrote the History of the Latter-day Saint church in Tucson. My complete record of construction progress was published by the church and we were asked to go to Canada and help with the Winnipeg Temple Construction. Snow and Covid made this assignment un usual. We came home Oct, 2020. Went back to Winnipeg a year later in the fall of 2021 to help with the open house and dedication. We are back home to play with grandkids and enjoy the Arizona Weather. We have been working on our Bucket list and have added a few more... We love visiting with old friends along the way. |
