| Introduction | I am a Bengaluru-based Madhubani (Mithila) artist originally from Bihar, the birthplace of this ancient art form. My work spans handmade paper, silk, fabrics, and wearable art. I conduct Madhubani Masterclasses for individuals and groups, sharing the beauty of this intricate art with art lovers worldwide. A proud moment in my journey was speaking at TEDx Amity University, where I shared my artistic evolution, drawing parallels with the phases of the moon. My art has been showcased at galleries like Laguna Arts (California) and Prince of Wales Museum (Mumbai), and I've conducted workshops for leading tech companies in Bangalore. As an empaneled artist at Central Cottage Emporium and featured on platforms like Novica (partnered with National Geographic), I strive to promote Indian handicrafts. I’m also associated with NGOs like A Hundred Hands and Sampoorn, and authored a book on Madhubani art for the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. |
