| Introduction | Name is Mark and I made this Blog for a class at Shippensburg University. I find the idea of a public Journal somewhat of interest after several years of not having one. No matter the medium, a good story is always key to me. Though, depending upon the medium and story, technical aspects can be a great draw as well! |
| Interests | Well to be brief, Cultures(All around the world with a special shout out to the Asian countries, especially Japan). In the cultures I love the Arts. Film and Game mediums are by far my most prominent interests. Psychology is also a area that I take a keen liking to. History is secondary to that though. So there, a brief list. And one word also, Animals!(Kitties especially!) |
| Favorite movies | Honestly I used to have a list, but I like way to many to list. Ideas start in Silent Films and go to current. I love the Oscars, it is the best time of the year for movies! Btw, lighting, audio/ score, and editing make up more of any movie than anyone really knows! Most notable is Magnolia and/or There Will be Blood by Paul Thomas Anderson. Favorite TV is Bill Lawrence, Scrubs/Cougar Town are two of the most in depth shows out there. |
| Favorite music | Once again, too much to list. Examples: Classical(Mostly pre 1800 EU composers), Jazz(most, but not all), Screamo, emo, Punk, current hit music, new rap, and several others. Favorite Artist is Craig Owens (Chiodos days are the best so far.) Favorite composers are a cliche split between Vivaldi - Four Seasons (Winter), Mozart - Requiem, and probably my most favorite Beethoven - Moonlight (FULL) |
| Favorite books | Why do I even bother! Anything old really. Current Lit has lost its swagger. I do love Manga though. Probably my favorite novel type |
