Introduction | I life on the far south coast of NSW and work as a teacher at the local high school. I studied philosohpy and history at Sydney Uni. I teach English/history and have a passion for all kinds of texts- I particularly love texts that combine visual and written elements such as drama ie Shakespeare and picture books- take a look at anything by Shaun Tan or Anthony Browne. I love my job but I also love making things. My 'making' involves books; stories and poems to put in the books; drawings and paintings to put in the books. My serious making began as a potter 15 years ago and has spread and grown with my family and life. I also knit furiously, bake zealously and garden sporadically. |
