| Introduction | I am 41 years old (as my kids say, "You were born in the SIXTIES??!!") and work as a nurse for Hospice. My life revolves around my family...my husband of 11 years, Patrik, is from Slovakia a real character, a wonderful dad...and also the love of my life...I have 5 glorious children-two grown sons 20 and 23, and 3 gorgeous little girls 6,8, and 10 who take my breath away with the blessings they have brought to my life. All five shine like diamonds tossed against a black velvet sky...they are the meaning of my life. I live in South Florida which is both a blessing and a curse (sunny days and beaches, breathlessly hot and hurricanes). I have fallen into the place in life I never thought I'd have: happily married, the mom of a relatively large family, doing a job I love and living in a city I adore. I don't know what I did to get so lucky, but I'm glad I did it! The only dark spot is missing my dad, who died in 2001. I miss him everyday. |

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
An uspeakable amount...never sit on shore with a baby in your lap while the tide's coming in.
