| Introduction | I am a blessed wife to my husband of 12 years, Roger, and mother of two precious little boys, Nathan (7y/o) and Luke (5y/o). My life is a little crazy at times (whose isn't ?). My youngest son was diagnosed with autism in August of 2010 and our lives have been turned a bit upside down. My life and my mission is to be a godly wife and mother for my family. This is a one-day- at-a-time challenge here. Trying to balance the needs of my oldest with the special needs of my youngest has been difficult to say the least. Not sure I will be able to answer any of life's pressing questions on this blog but my hope is that I might promote autism awareness, encourage someone, or spur someone to pray for me and my family because we always need it! |
| Interests | Running, reading, chocolate,being outdoors,love the beach, going on adventures with my family (and occasionally by myself). Would love to travel more - maybe oneday I will get the chance! |
| Favorite movies | To Kill a Mockingbird (I love Scout), The Ten Commandments (classic), The Wizard of Oz (always watch it with my family growing up); The Sound of Music (beautiful); Top Gun (great soundtrack); A Christmas Story(always makes me laugh); Clash of the Titans (the old version - kind of corny but still love it); Forest Gump ( a little long but another great soundtrack!); yeah, I know most of them are pretty old, but I love them! |
