| Introduction | I am a married man with two growing children. We have our own house in North Yorkshire and I work in Warwickshire. I have been in the Army for over 25 Years. The Army has given me the opportunity to travel and to do lots of exciting and interesting things. I joined in January 1981, my first operation was in 1982 - the Falklands Conflict. I have been to Australia, lived in Hong Kong and Germany, visited Nepal (to go mountaineering twice), the USA (3 times), Canada, Austria, Poland, Denmark, France, Kenya, Oman, Kuwait etc.... I have served through the last 10 years of the Cold War (including a short period at Greenham Common). Since 9/11 I have done two tours in Iraq. |
