| Introduction | I had been initiated to the Bengali stage in my childhood by the late thespian Kali Sarkar of Bohurupee. In my college days at Visva-Bharati I acted in various plays and had the rare opportunity of attending Natyacharya Shombhu Mitra's theatre classes in Santiniketan. Had made three nonfiction films. I have been writing review articles since 1984 in The Telegraph, Desh, among others. I love and live theatre. I am a retired teacher of Zoology and Film Studies. |
