| Introduction | I'm a creative type - I write sometimes, I paint sometimes. I like to dabble in other mediums, but I've pretty much settled into and love acrylics. They suit my weird, maximalist style of art creation. For me, painting is akin to yoga. It's a way to clear my brain by focusing it on something else, in this case, purely visual (though there is some exercise involved; I'm often standing and dancing while I fling paint around). I don't really paint to sell, but I do love the idea of my paintings going to a good home, so if you see something on this blog that you like, contact me and make me an offer. Otherwise, I'm something of an educator and my background editing art instruction books is probably going to come out. Feel free to try any techniques I demonstrate on your own. Making art is fun and I encourage everyone to find their thing. |
