| Introduction | I am a graduate student pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Public Policy with a focus on Disability Policy. I was prompted to pursue a career in helping people with disabilities in some capacity after receiving a Spinal Cord Injury in a car crash 16 years ago. Growing up I often wondered what my purpose was in life, acquiring my disability helped me to realize what it is. It is to help people with disability to receive the rights and privileges that they are entitled to according to the laws that have been created. |
