About me

Gender Male
Introduction Grew up in Kansas in the 50s, lived through the 60s/70s mostly in Springfield, Illinois. Now live in the shadow of the University of Illinois in Urbana. Married three times, the third one charmed. Three children: Joel Tristan, Lesley Paige, and Piper Gwynne. One grandchild, Morgan Jane Osburn. Best Partner in the universe, Kimberly Britton. Much of this life spent writing poetry and novels, a few publications. Sponsored numerous writers workshops over the years. I've done quite a bit of community theatre, mostly on stage. Written rock and roll criticism, book reviews, diverse essays, many short stories. Interested in giving back to the Lady the art and caprice of this existence. Also have an anthropological interest in human sexuality, confused by a roman catholic upbringing. I am a basically optimistic person living in a nightmare of rightwing advance. I do believe the house of cards will fall. I just hope we aren't all inside at that point. Thanks to the Lady Arianrhod for this ride upon Her Silver Wheel!

Unlike a dog, how can a turtle ever be naked?

In my soup, with a good zinfandel on the side.
