Introduction	Shannon is a somewhat independent, almost fully functional human being. She is studying chemistry at the State University of New York – College of Environmental Science and Forestry (colloquially known as SUNY-ESF). She usually enjoys a myriad of activities, including but not limited to reading children’s fantasy books, detailed self-analysis, collecting hugs, and chemistry on the molecular level. She's a creature of habit and hates change, at least the imminent sort. She has an affinity for chemistry and calculus, is bored by history and absolutely abhors being told how to write. She's extremely nonconfrontational, which is an issue that she really would work on if she could bring herself to confront it. She's afraid of a number of things: many of them intangible, most of them irrational. She likes to sing, and to try not to take herself too seriously. She's even-tempered, generally, but very high-strung. She's a perfectionist. She never knows what she wants for Christmas.
