Introduction I grew up in a loving household with amazing parents and fabulously wacky sisters, all of whom are still amazing and fabulously wacky. I met and fell in love with a truly special man who taught me so much about life and love in such a short amount of time and opened my world up to so many caring people. I consider myself truly blessed to have been with him... and I'm equally as blessed to have found the wonderful man with whom I share my life with now. I am surrounded with love and unique humor every day... and I am eternally grateful to him for it. I love him with all of my heart for not turning me away, even when I pursued him in a rather stalker-like way. That makes for a funny story... remind me to tell you if you haven't already heard it.
Interests Seeing live music, watching the Home and Garden Channel, doing DYI crafts and home decorating projects inspired by HGTV, moving furniture around to make better use of space, organizing things, finding ways to re-use items in new ways, writing 100-word stories, hiking, visiting parks and beaches all-year-round, letterboxing, and of course... reading!
Favorite Movies Defending Your Life, Dave, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Garden State, Love Actually, Princess Bride, Contact, About a Boy, Once
Favorite Music Anything played on 90.7 WFUV Fordham University's Public Radio Station... indie, folk, singer-songwriter, or alternative music.
Favorite Books Too many to list... The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell, The Alienist by Caleb Carr, The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, Whirligig by Paul Fleischman, anything by David Sedaris, The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, and three books by Sharon Shinn: The Dream-Maker's Magic, The Safe-Keeper's Secret, and The Truth-Teller's Tale. There's so many more that I can't think of... I need to walk up and down the book stacks at work to remind me!
