The blogger was trained in medieval history by the eminent historian, Professor Burton Stein and he is at present the Professor of History in, Pondicherry University, INDIA.He is also the Dean, School of Social Sciences and International Studies of Pondicherry University. His Ph D thesis was on Vijayanagara Empire and he received his doctorate from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, in 1987. |
