| Introduction | "Alphabet Soup" is a term parents of special needs kids use to express the myriad of diagnoses our complicated children are labeled with. Doctors, therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers are an important part of our lives but it can get pretty hectic when trying to decipher the mystery of our children's minds. This is my family's story of pushing beyond the label to reach a state of healing and peace. I don't know if we'll ever get there but we continue to try. |
