Introduction	I have been a member of the awkward squad all my adult life. Taught maths because I was told I was no good at school. I loved teaching, and still do it as a hobby. Had to retire because of ulcerative colitis. My biggest problem in life is getting a quart into a pint pot.
Interests	The Outdoors, singing, cooking, Life, the Universe and Everything; in particular mathematics and history.
Favorite Movies	2001 a Space Oddesey, Dr Strangelove, Room with a View, Cabaret, Hogfather.
Favorite Music	Mozart, Respighi, Joni Mitchell, Fats Waller amongst others.
Favorite Books	Straight and Crooked Thinking, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Caesar (etc) - Collen McCullough, Eastern Approaches -Fizroy Maclean, all Terry Pratchett.
