Introduction	Andy & I and our Australian Shepherd Henry are heading out across the US on a year long RV trip. Last year was horrible – lost my Mom to cancer, brother-in-law Jeff to ALS, and our little cairn terrier Abbey was killed by another dog. What we know for sure is this - life is short & precious – and we need to get on with it. Our three children are grown, settled & happy and the timing is perfect for this trip. We bought our 40 ft motorcoach in 2009 and have taken her out for short trips – but never for this length of time. I refer to the RV as her because I call it Andy's ‘girlfriend’ - he is constantly doting on her & buying her gifts. As our friend Rick always says, "While having your mid-life crisis choose the vehicle, not the girl!" It is literally our home on wheels and has all the comforts of home. We look forward to a year filled with new experiences to help erase the memories of last year. Our purpose for this blog is to keep our family & friends updated on our travels. We also want to keep a record of our trip as it’s so easy to forget the little things along the way … and it’s all about the little things. Thanks for traveling with us!
