Introduction	Hello there! My name is Megan Schultz and I am a Kindergarten teacher at EXCEL Academy Public Charter School in Prince George's County, MD. Since I have moved to MD 6 years ago and started my job at EXCEL, I have had many challenges that I have overcome. I started in 3rd grade, moved to 2nd/3rd by request of my principal my second year, and for the last 4 years I have been teaching Kindergarten at MY request! I love what I do, and I am always aspiring to do more creative things within my classroom! Another goal of mine is to include parents in their child's education and the classroom. I am currently taking courses at Johns Hopkins University for my masters in Reading and hope to graduate in Fall, 2012. The goal of this blog is to keep track of "funnies" in my classroom, as well as frustrating moments and "a-ha" moments! ENJOY!
