Introduction	I became interested in creating art while I was in high school around 1970. I dabbled with several mediums but settled on photography for many years. It was my husband, Frank, who encouraged me to get back into painting, so I started watercolor painting in 1988 and studied under several local artists. Nancy Russo, from Westford, MA really got me hooked on watercolor. I also took classes with Kathy Dunn, Cynthia Van Horne Ehrlich and Kathy Cooper. I served on the Board for the Chelmsford Art Society and I am still an active member. I retired from working full-time as a Technical Communications Manager in a large international corporation in July 2010 and have devoted much more time to my real passion - which is watercolor painting! 2014 has been an exciting year for me: I became an Associate member of the New England Watercolor Society; I won a first place ribbon for amateur watercolor painting at the Chelmsford Art Society 4th of July Show; and I was accepted into the Rhode Island Watercolor Society's Northeast Regional Show being held in Oct 2014.
