Introduction	Jan grew up climbing trees and collecting acorns. This came in handy later when she completed her degree in Forestry form the University of Missouri. Jan worked in the field of conservation education for over 15 years. She has released two children's CDs and a music video. Her Emmy Award winning music has also received the Parent's Choice Award and the Association of Conservation Information National Award. Jan is a professional singer/songwriter with over 20 years experience in guitar and piano. She met her best friend George whild playing guitar in a garden where he worked. George is happiest with his handsin the soil of his Osage hills farm. He worked in Environmental Science and Conservation Education for the Missouri Departments of Natural Resources and Conservation. George graduated with a Fisheries and Wildlife degree from the University of Missouri and never tires of sharing his enthusiasm for nature especially with children. George has been a professional vocalist for over 18 years.
