| Introduction | Let me introduce myself. I’m just and “Old” Hang Gliding junky. I love my flying machines. Our home flying areas are the foot launch sites of the West Coast mountains in B.C.’s Fraser Valley. Thing is, well the west coast mountains are a beautiful place to fly, the place I like the best is over the wheat fields of central Washington. To fly the “flats” there are no mountains to launch our wings, it took some ingenuity to take to the sky. Getting airborne is accomplished with our tow rig. It’s the force that gets us into the sky, our “Towforce”. I also have a partner that loves to share the adventure. She has also flown everything and now fly’s a ATOS VQ rigid wing. Together we have been flying Hang Gliders for a very long time and for now…. this is what our life is all about. Carving turns, climbing in the invisible air and making the glide, dust, wind, wheat and sun. Cheers Martin |
