| Introduction | Doug and I have 8 children (Our first one passed away shortly after birth. We are looking forward to seeing him someday.) Our children have blessed us with 23 wonderful grandchildren. Doug and I have retired from Corcoran School District. Doug taught for 36 years. He has a very special talent for teaching students with Learning Disabilities. Doug and I worked at the same school, John C. Fremont Elementary, only 2nd and 3rd graders), in Corcoran. I retired as a librarian tech after 20 years with the School District. It has been great having my best friend one room away to see at recess and lunch. A big hug from him can be such a boost on a rough or tiring day. I have throughly enjoyed encouraging students to read. Reading expands their world in so many ways. We love to travel and enjoy exploring nature. Our favorite get away is relaxing near Monterrey on the coast , and Big Sur. We love going to the Fresno temple. We enjoy being together. |
