| Introduction | This was started as a journal during a three-year overseas posting that took me to various locations for anything between two and five months at a time. It started off well, but kind of fell by the wayside when I got to Moscow in October 2008. I should and will update this with my final floating post, which was five months in Almaty, Kazakhstan (Feb-June 2009). I look back on this blog, the photos in particular, with great fondness, especially since I learnt the lesson (the very hard way) of the need to back up photos. And now I'm based in Warsaw, Poland. In fact I am half way through as I write this (Jan 2011). To say I love it would be an understatement. |
