| Introduction | I am a compulsive reader, and in a constant state of writer's block on this novel I've been working on for the past nine years. (I know there's no excuse for this and I'm pathetic and lazy and that The Sims is an energy-sucking drain on my creativity. I started this blog to kick-start a writing "habit" that will make me think of some new ideas for the book.) |
| Interests | Reading, writing, movies, TV, camping, The Sims, cooking/dieting, blowing my entire grocery budget on my pet birds, writing humorous disclaimers ("This product may cause hives in some users. Keep out of reach of children and pets and Florida voters" etc.) |
| Favorite Movies | The Big Lebowski (and basically anything involving the Coen Brothers), Throw Momma from the Train, Half Baked, Primal Fear, movies adapted from Stephen King novels (even the really cheesy ones except for the TV version of The Shining) |
| Favorite Music | (Sigh.) I enjoy country music. I can't help it. I spent 10 years living in Florida. It stuck. |
| Favorite Books | Anything by George Carlin, Carl Hiaasen, Stephen King, Joyce Carol Oates, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, The Secret Life of Bees, and this really odd book I read recently called The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Excellent. |
