| Introduction | I became a Mema years ago. My first grandson started to call me that when he first started talking. I didn't know where it came from until he was about 3 and I asked him what it meant. He told me it means "I love you". Since then I've found there are Mema's or Meema's all over the world. I've determined that it really does mean "I love you" and that it is a universal word that children just know. |
