| Introduction | I am an associate professor at the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I research interventions that promote violence survivors’ safety and recovery from the trauma of violence. Currently, I'm focusing on the health consequences of violent victimization, repeated victimizations, coping with traumatic events, and community-based services for violence survivors.
