| Introduction | I am a self taught artist and have no formal training outside of high school art class. I have been told that my painting style is primitive, folksy or naive. However I think of myself as a paint by the seat of your pants type of painter! I work mostly in acrylics and mixed media. I dabbled in watercolors in high school and went on a 20 year hiatus. However four years ago My Husband and I where in an car accident where I sustained a serious neck injury. Ironically this "accident" brought me back so to speak into the world of art and I started painting in a new medium that I had never used before... Acrylics! I have not put down my paint brush since.
