| Introduction | I'm colorblind, left-handed and obsessive-compulsive. I have a recurring case of claustrophobia and, if friends are to be believed, a mental disorder bordering on schizophrenia. I don't know how to drive or ride a bike or swim, although I suspect that I could be buoyant when the right situation comes. I speak 3 languages and a half, but most Brits would say that I only pretend to speak English and the Spaniards, that I only know how to conjugate Spanish verbs. The third one is Filipino as I was born and raised in the Philippines (the stunning country of the friendliest and most beautiful Asians evaah!). I've recently (re)discovered my fascination for drawing, dancing semi-drunk, photography and the Bollywood music of Chori-chori. I love looking at ceilings and facades, and posing near a monument to have my picture taken. I get easily pissed off with: 1) Monolinguals who don't even try; 2) Anyone who simply goes with the flow and doesn't have an iota of originality; 3) Stupid folks that equate "good conversation" with "non-intellectual chat"; 4) Cultural prejudices and the hard-headedness that follows; 5) Half-cooked rice. Sedate me, please. |
