Introduction Buchholz is a professor at Bentley College, Waltham, MA. Chairman of the Department of Information Design and Corporate Communication (IDCC). Major teaching and research interests include the World Wide Web, the semantic Web, information design, information architecture, interface design, knowledge management, and content management. Currently researching ontologies, the application of XML (DTDs, Schema, XSLT, RDF, and OWL for Semantic Web applications), XHTML, CSS1, CSS2, and metadata schemas such as the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative. Published in numerous books and journals. Active in consulting and training nationally for nearly 30 years: clients range from engineering corporations to nuclear utilities, federal government agencies, and Fortune 500 firms.
Interests Digital photography, photo editing and compositing, walking, music, computers in general, having fun with my wonderful family.
