Introduction	"Home Again" is a University of Hawai`i Academy for Creative Media movie by Joelle-Lyn Sarte - winner of the Women’s Filmmaker Initiative screenplay competition. This is a story of Maria, a young Filipino woman ashamed of her family and culture and has estranged herself from them in an effort to be "normal." When told that a nose job would improve her modeling career, Maria moves back home with her family to save money for the procedure. While she tries to maintain her distance from her family and culture, she eventually develops relationships with her nieces. Unlike Maria, they have embraced their Filipino culture.
