| Introduction | In my previous life, I could have been a gypsy dog or some other creature that completely lost its sense of home and took on rambling around for some reason that even that very creature could not put in words. Not that dogs are expected to give speaches :: In my REAL life, I was born in USSR (no such country anymore) in 1970. Department of State still believes that I only pulled that trick to further confuse them, so they countered with one of their own and assigned me as "Ukranian". WOW! :: I spent the first part of my almost concious life in Krasnoyarsk. It is a city in Siberia, found on most maps a bit right of the middle of nowhere. At 25, I was transplanted to Schaumburg, IL and left it as soon as the situation permitted, which happened roughly after ten unforgettable months. Then Seattle, WA. Seattle was (and still is) my home base and there are quite a few memories that link me to that place... Three years ago I moved to Washington DC. DC never clicked. I just could not connect to that city. Plus, mid-life crisis and all the things that come with it... So here I am. Turners Falls, MA and I'm in Hallmark embarking on the photography career. Or thinking that I am. WOW! |
