| Introduction | The Love Creek Center For Permaculture is located in the Central Sierra Nevadas. Located between Tahoe and Yosemite in Calaveras County. We are about 1 mile away from the border of Big Trees State Park. The ecosystem we live in is the mixed coniferous forest. Oyster mushrooms, Morels, and King Boletes all grow here, although not always easy to find. We have lots more wildlife and are blessed with lots of diversity. We are about 5 acres of South Facing land with open meadows and large trees mixed together. We have a continual creek and a seasonal creek that feeds our pond. A food forest is under construction and our vegetable gardens and greenhouses in production. |
