| Introduction | Motorcycling became my passion & one of my favourite outlets for adventure, travel, exploring & photography in my 20's (some 40+ years ago) taking me through western Canada & USA (including 2 years in Texas), the full length of Baja Mexico & into central & northern mainland Mexico . Recent years have me gravitating more towards non-pavement destinations & exploring the vastness of my native B.C. & thus the downsizing to the 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700, which is becoming close to the 'Unicorn' motorcycle for my riding & purposes of mostly paved roads with a growing % of gravel FSR & non-technical trails as my off-road skill set, acumen & confidence increase. This blog has evolved, but was mostly meant to be just a place for me to chronical my recent Tenere ownerships, motorcycling & photography. I have a mechanical aptitude, but am not a mechanic, am a methodical researcher & tinkerer who enjoys the process of setting up & customizing my bikes & performing my own maintenance.. If it is either informative or entertaining then it has exceeded it's original intent :) |
