| Introduction | Who gets to do what they wanted to do when they were a kid? My childhood dream was to become either an artist or a scientist. Several years ago, I ventured into the laboratory, and have been captivated ever since. I'm currently a grad student, with a short-term goal of obtaining as much free food as possible, and the long-term goal of becoming a successfully funded principal investigator in biomedical research. OPB Radio keeps me sane while I'm at work. When I'm not in the lab, I like to dabble in photography, painting, drawing, sewing, crochet, cooking, baking, cheering Jon Stewart, and getting cuted out by the year-round hummingbirds that frequent the feeder I keep outside my kitchen window. Is there someone watching grad students gobble up free food and getting cuted out? Hmm.... |
