Introduction	We are the Global Stories Project. We seek to collect the stories of immigration of the past and present with the intention to promote the benefits of immigration in the future. Collectively, we are the product of immigration across many generations and countries: Japan (Nihon/Nippon), Islamic Republic of Iran, Germany (Deutschland), Sri Lanka , Holland (Netherlands), Israel (Yisrā'el), and South Korea.
