Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I don't wear a scarf precisely because I live in a tropical country and it's not really cold at all in my city. -ber months leading to Christmas are cold but not cold enough to warrant actually wearing a scarf at night or anytime during the day or night.
