| Introduction | A Public Charitable Trust named Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust, Shirthady (R) formed by five eminent and passionate teachers with a zeal of imparting legal education to students has constituted Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies at Shirthady village of Moodbidri taluk in D.K. District. The institute is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University Hubballi and approved by Bar Council of India New Delhi. The institute offers 5 Year integrated BBA,LL.B and 3 Year LL.B courses from the academic year 2024-25. The institute aims to disseminate legal education with modern approaches to instill the holistic development of students. The vision of the institute is to create responsible and passionate legal professionals to upheld the constitutional values for the common good. The institute has set up state-of-the-art infrastructure with ICT equipped classrooms, moot court hall, library, canteen, sports facilities to enrich learning exprience. The study will facilitate students to set up their career as advocates, company legal advisors, law officers, judges, attorneys, public prosecutors, notary public, bureaucrats, researchers, academicians etc. |
