Introduction	My name is Shelley. I love my children, horses I do not own and chewy caramels. The order depends on the day... With three children (15 year old boy, 7 and 3 year old daughters)to keep life interesting, I'll tell you this: If anyone tells you parenting is a piece of cake, they are high. And lying. Parenthood is challenging, even for the strong-at-heart, and there are days you need to be talked down from the desire to throw yourself in front of a train in order to stop the questions, questions, screaming temper tantrum, and here we go with more questions. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world because I love my kids - and they are truly GREAT kids. Even when they puke. Or bicker incessantly. Posts will include my thoughts on motherhood (how did I fuck up my kids today?), alcohol (not completely unrelated to posts on motherhood), and Hugh Laurie (because I love him too, but less than the aforementioned chewy caramels).
Favorite music	Almost everything except the 100-times-repeat-singing of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". Which sounds mysteriously like the alphabet song.
