Introduction	Born into a family of food lovers. Both my Nanas were good home cooks very different in their cooking styles and repertoire(one being a pom and the other a real aussie)started there and of course my Mum was a good cook and loved to experiment and try new things(I even think she invented chicken nuggets as we had crumbed chicken loaf way before the colonel came up with them)Mum is one of my food heroes as she loves new things and trying new recipes (her beautiful friend Robyn gave me the best chocolate cake recipe I've ever eaten RIP Rob) and our most regular conversations now are still about food(she rings me and asks foody questions..an upside to having your daughter as a chef). My graceful Aunty Cal was the cake maker and baker and my other mother Aunty Jan(mums oldest friend) was the experimenter extraordinaire...we had nachos at her house before they were trendy. The best thing about all these people in my life is that (like me) they all love to talk, so I could sit in the kitchen and watch, learn participate. I have been cooking professionally for 22 years and still love it more than ever . I love life and Im obsessed with purple anything(not food as such but stuff)
