| Introduction | I was born and raised in Boise Idaho. There I resided within a nice middle class home until the day I left for BYU. I have always had one parent at home in the mornings and afternoons, and one more to accompany her in the evening. My mother is an accountant turned house wife, and my father is a college drop out, turned financial adviser, turned stock investor. I spent my childhood as a twig within a river, staying afloat and going with the flow. My accomplishments growing up are moderate in scale and included: peer praised dinosaur drawings in kindergarten, high chess club rankings in elementary, and an advanced butterfly stroke within my swim team. I was a simple and kind young man, yet remained camouflaged in the midst of my peers. That is until three life events gave me an identity that would contrast my image for the rest of my life. |
