| Introduction | I am a 28 year old proud military wife & mother to two beautiful little girls through the blessing of adoption. My husband & I were married in May of 2004. After 3 years of infertility we began our adoption journey in 2007 through the process of fostering while we were stationed in California. For our daughter Brooklynn, it was a fairly short (15 month) journey to the finalization of her adoption but for our daughter Alanna, it’s been the wildest roller coaster ride I’ve ever been on that lasted just over 3 years! The turmoil of all this has not deterred us however & we are currently in the process of re licensing as foster parents here in Florida where we are now stationed.
