Introduction | This is my personal blog: by day I am a senior analyst at Oxford Analytica (www.oxan.com), helping government, corporate and financial clients with strategy and performance in a complex world.
My analysis role focuses on southern and West Africa, and my role in our advisory work includes helping clients navigate society's changing expectations of business, from 'resource nationalism' to innovative ways to blend 'people, planet and profit'. I've worked in government, intergovernmental, civil society, academia and consulting. My PhD (ANU, 2011) was 'Peacebuilding and the Private Sector: regulating business after conflict'. Haufler's 'A Public Role for the Private Sector' (2001) helped inspire the blog name. |
