| Introduction | i remember the exact moment, about 7 years ago now, that i had a very intimate conversation with the divine and surrendered completely. i had had several, what one might call phenomenal experiences, and i remember very clearly making the decision that it doesn't matter whether or not i have "proof" that the divine exists - since i want to have an interesting life, i choose to believe that the divine is everywhere and in everything. this was very freeing . . . the next logical step was to surrender. i, of course, as evidenced by my lifestyle, did not just surrender with a particular goal or desire in mind - i surrendered totally and completely. i literally said to the divine: "i surrender everything i am!" i realized that i see our existence here on earth as a choice and that we choose to come here for the experience. it was only then logical for me to undertake this grand experiment of surrender - to wholly and completely surrender all that i am, including past and future, to the divine. my life has unfolded in an infinitely beautiful way since that moment and now i share with you this physical act of surrendering - a walk of surrender . . . |
