| Introduction | After trying to teach middle school in the Bronx for two years, I decided to switch to the policy world and ran off to Vanderbilt to pursue a PhD. After seven years teaching at two different universities, I decided to enter the non-profit world where I could have more of an impact on the ground. While my research interests center on urban poverty and social policy, I try to stay abreast of all the latest happenings in education. |
