Introduction Chris Behan teaches trial advocacy, evidence, criminal law and military law at Southern Illinois University School of Law. Prior to joining the faculty at SIU, he served for over ten years as an officer in the United States Army JAG Corps. He has taught in advocacy programs at The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, the University of Notre Dame Law School, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Stetson University College of Law, and Washburn University School of Law. He is also a member of the faculty at the National Judicial College. He has published numerous scholarly articles on evidence, military law and trial advocacy. He is the co-author of the Military Crimes and Defenses treatise (LexisNexis 2007). His evidence book, Evidence and the Advocate: A Contextual Approach to Learning Evidence, will be published by LexisNexis in 2011.
