| Introduction | Cory Yeffet is currently serving as the Student Body President at the University of Florida. He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics and Political Science in May 2014, and is now pursuing his Masters of Science in Real Estate through the Hough Graduate School of Business. Before running for Student Body President, Cory spent three years serving as a Student Senator for the College of Business, ultimately being elected Student Senate President. During his time in Student Government, Cory has worked tirelessly to enhance the student experience at UF. Cory strongly believes in student involvement in education policy at both the State and Federal levels, and is committed to ensuring continued investment in higher education and representation of student interests. Cory, born and raised in Miami, Florida, is a first-generation college student. His father immigrated to the United States from Israel, and his mother is originally from New York. In addition, Cory has two older siblings. Outside of his involvement with Student Government, Cory is also a proud member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. |
