| Introduction | The short story... I will celebrate my eight wedding anniversary with Jeff in June (and we have been together for more than twelve years now). Time has flown. We have a cat, Anna Marie. She is a sleek, jet black beauty who is so lovey and talkative, but it can be a bit much at times! She owns the house and just happens to let us live here. I am the Exec Director of the Buckhannon Upshur CVB. This is my first job outside of the world of education, but I really enjoy it and it seems to fit me well. By reading the blog, you'll learn much more about me and my opinions. I am still restricted with my online thoughts though, as my lively hood rests on politics...so, if you really have a question, contact me! |
| Interests | Beading, scrapbooking, making hand-made cards, reading, decorating, snuggling in bed with my husband, loving on my kitty, hanging out with good friends, and so much more! |
| Favorite movies | This is so difficult for me but some are: Elizabethtown, Fight Club, Pirates (all), Ocean's 11 and 13 (12 was okay but doesn't get played as often), National Treasue (both), Rainman, Short Circuit II, Dirty Dancing, and much more that I just can't recall right now. I can tell you that I like to watch Sex and the City DVD reruns along with Desperate Housewives, Six Feet Under, and Fraiser. I do like Elizabethtown, The Skeleton Key, The Family Stone, and lots and lots of others...I just can't think of them right now. |
| Favorite music | A great mix of things other than country...more rock than everything else, but I still love Harry Connick, Jr. |
| Favorite books | The Bean Trees, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, The Bell Jar, The Color Purple, Memoirs of a Geisha, Shopgirl, The Pleasure of My Company, Pears on a Willow Tree, White Oleander, and now a "trashy" vampire/werewolf/mermaid/cyborg romance writer...it is a delightfully guilty pleasure. |
Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
I don't think I ever could but growing up I watched my grandfather peel an apple with his knife in one, long strand. It always amazed me.
