Introduction	Welcome to my blog. If you like ideas and photography, I hope that you will find me a kindred spirit. My intent is to create a blog post weekly appearing each Sunday or Monday. I am an older guy in the Bon Jovi sense -- "Like a favorite pair of torn blue jeans this skin I'm in it's alright with me it's not old -just older." I am blessed to have a wonderful and understanding wife, a loving supportive family, fabulous friends, and an optimistic outlook (most of the time). I classify myself as an opportunistic photographer shooting whatever catches my interest. I am interested in still photography exclusively because life's moments race by far too quickly and the frozen moments captured in still photography give peace and pause to a hurried life. Finally, I do not use my own name for the blog as some of you "Alf" aficionados know. While I will share thoughts, ideas and personal experiences, I highly value my privacy. This being said, I welcome reader comments about the photos and ideas expressed in my blog. Listening to what others have to say is one way to grow as a photographer and as a friend.
