| Introduction | People and the art of food, these are my passions. I seek to bring people together to share the experiences gleaned during my travels to many cultures and their cuisines. Nothing inspires me more than seeing the reaction and delighted surprise on the faces of my guests after they have tasted one of my creations. I've been fortunate to have lived in San Francisco and Brooklyn but only until I moved to Austin in 2008 did I feel like I was "home." This great town inspires me constantly...I encounter so many smart, passionate people here who value the local, the original, the home-grown. That's why I'm starting my own business, to bring back a little piece of the old, largely forgotten world where entertaining and sharing your space was routinely glamorous. |
