He graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. While in college, he founded Hip Hop Alliance, which won Club of the Year in 2009 for educating the community on Hip Hop Culture, its elements and history, as well as its many issues with race, class, gender, sexual orientation and more. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He currently works for a non-profit, in Brooklyn, helping the less fortunate get free/affordable health insurance.
